This list is for information purpose only, as some beer brands may have been discontinued.
Nigeria has several breweries companies across the country but the two major breweries companies are Nigeria Breweries and Guinness Nigeria.
"Beer is the world's most widely consumed and probably the oldest alcoholic beverage; it is the third most popular drink overall, after water and tea " wikipedia .Although in Nigeria beer may not necessarily be the third most consumed beverage for religious and other reasons.

DRINK RESPONSIBLY
For example a bottle of Star is 3.2 units of Alcohol and you are advised not to drink more 14 units which is about 5 bottles a week, and if you must drink make sure you spread it across the days.
Foot note
"The Chief Medical Officers’ (CMO) guideline for both men and women states that:
To keep health risks from alcohol to a low level it is safest not to drink more than 14 units a week on a regular basis
If you regularly drink as much as 14 units per week, it's best to spread your drinking evenly over three or more days. If you have one or two heavy drinking episoides a week, you increase your risk of death from long-term illness and injuries
The risk of developing a range of health problems (including cancers of the mouth, throat and breast) increases the more you drink on a regular basis
If you wish to cut down the amount you drink, a good way to help achieve this is to have several drink-free days a week. "
