1. Arsenal vs Liverpool - Arsenal played Liverpool as their opening match for the 2016/2017 EPL season at home and it was a cracker, a very open game that left us with 7 goals from both sides, but Liverpool came out tops, with 4 goals against Arsenal's 3.
3-4 it ended at the Emirates Stadium.
2. Usian Bolt- The World's Fastest Man continued to amaze us with his brilliance at the Olympics and a sensational photograph was taken of him blazing to the finish line at the Semi finals of the 100 m Men race.
3. Nigeria vs Germany - Nigeria's Semi Final match against Germany ended 2-0 against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, lack of tactical knowledge and a very weak defense stopped the Eagles from reaching the Finals against a very prepared German side.
4. PDP Covention - The Peoples Democratic Party's convention that was to be held in Port Harcourt amidst controversies accusation and counter accusations from different angles.a
5. Olympics Football Finals - Brazil vs Germany which held on Saturday and ended in a penalty shootout with Brazil the host Nation beat Germany in a thrilling match to clinch Gold.
Congratulations Team Brazil, also Nigeria Won Honduras to win Bronze, Nigeria's only medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics game.
