I know the year has not come to an  end yet we have over 7 weeks left, but so far these songs have done justice, in the Nigerian music scene these tracks have been played "back to back" , I strongly doubt if this list will change by the end of the year. but enough talking lets reveal the list.







1. Tekno - Pana - This is definitely the hit song of the year, produced by KrizBeatz ,Tekno is currently signed to Made Men Music Group (Triple MG).

2. D -Banj - Emergency - Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo - AKA D BANJ that brought us "why me" in the early days of his career when he was still with Mo'hits record and super producer Don Jazzy has not had any major hit song since the break up, but this is surely a banger of 2016 for Bangalee the song was produced by P loops which his not a house hold name in the industry and their was controversy about payments for the beat and all, but its No. 2 on our list.

3. Humble Smith feat Davido - OSINACHI remix The song produced by prod. Mixta Dimz, is one of those songs that immediately you hear it, you know its going places, it came it a perfect time when Davido was in the news with all his Baby Mama troubles, for him to jump on the remix, which make it even better.

4. Olamide - Abule Sowo - Arguably the hottest street artist out there , came with another banger this year, produced by Pheelz, the in house producer for YBNL .

5. Phyno ft Olamide - FADA FADA - Phyno that has been spitting fire since he appeared on the music scene dropped another banger for the year, Fada Fada, one with some sort of religious under tone , thanking God for his achievement and everything thus far, produced by  Masterkraft .

6. Patoranking feat Sakodie - No kissing - This time it was a collaboration between nations, Nigeria and Ghana, for this hot single, No kissing, produced by Gospelondbeatz. 

7. Reekado Banks - Oluwa ni  The Mavins singer, dropped another one this year, after winning the headies next rated artist award, which caused a lot of uproar at the begging of the year, Reekado has shown that in deed he is the Next rated artist, with this beautiful track produced by in house producer ALTIMS.

8. Kiss Daniel - Mama Its kiss Daniel and he drops a track called Mama produced by Young John D Wicked producer, indeed this is a wicked track, the G-worldwide artist from his debut album " New ERA".

9. Sugar Boy - Hola Hola - Another G- Worldwide artiste dropped his first single, Hola Hola, produced by Beatburx, the song with features a melo afro beat/ raggae vibes is surely making heads move.

10. Timaya feat Flavour - M.O.N.E.Y Since Timaya appeared on the music scene over 14 years ago, its been hits after hit, this one is a hot banging track from the Egberi Papa 1, with Nabania produced by Young D,
