Things I find odd, but seem normal in Public Nigeria

1. Glass cups at the Bar / Beer Parlour - This might not seem strange but if you visit some people's houses in Nigeria, they have their personal tumbler or drinking glass etc for strange reasons and they may not drink from any other cup, until its found, some people even go as far as having their own sits or chairs, you'll visit some homes and you'll hear something like, that's my Dad's chair, but when they go to beer parlour they drink from the same glass, in some cases the attendants will just pick the glass cup from another customer and drop it in water, immediately pulling it out and will offer it to you.

So what are the available options out there?
a. Bring your glass cups from home?

b. Drink from the bottle - in Nigeria, I guess because the beer bottles are usually big most of which are about 60 cl, people will call you "bush or local" if you drink directly from the bottle, and there are several theories that you'll even get high faster if you do so.... hmmmmm I don't know.... so what do you guys think?

2. Suya or BBQ meat - This is so common you'll see people in their houses with a pile of old news papers, some of them have been dealt with properly by rodents, cockroaches etc, but its normal to go to local spots in Nigeria and get the same Newspaper use to wrap meat that you'll consume directly.

So what are the available options

a. Like its done in Abuja and other ' Tush" places, foil wrappers can be used, they'll make the Suya hotter and more presentable.
